63 Tay Street – British Restaurant – Perth
In the heart of historic Perth, adjacent to the River Tay which passes through the town, is where you will find 63 Tay Street, offering restaurant dining from Tuesday to Saturday, with the possibility to hire the restaurant for private functions on Sunday and Monday. This is the first venture for Graeme Pallister, a chef whose local roots have previously led him to work in renowned local restaurants after spending some time in Southern England and Jersey. By day, the restaurant is light and airy with a contemporary feel to the space, whilst in the evenings the atmosphere is sophisticated yet relaxed. With a strong focus on seasonality, the restaurants uses produce sourced both locally and from fine suppliers a little further afield. The wine list is extensive and features many new world wines and fair amount of older classics, with many sourced from small producers with limited output.
