Hidden away just outside Cambridge, Abbots Bar & Restaurant is decorated with a sophisticated fusion of dark reds and deep browns, creating a classy atmosphere in which you can enjoy excellent cooking. The menu has been created by Head Chef, Simon Pollendine, who offers dishes that are certainly unique for an old driving range’s restaurant. Pollendine’s cooking combines the best of Mediterranean and British flavours to craft intriguing cuisine, such as Chicken Liver and Black Truffle Parfait with Nettle Dressing, Oven-Baked Sea Trout, and Raspberry and Champagne Jelly. Finish off your meal with Segafredo Italian coffee, which is also available in the bar area where a whole range of tasty snacks can be found. Wine-buffs will not be disappointed by the extensive and eclectic wine menu, and with main courses at such reasonable prices, the only irons you’ll be reaching for are the ones you eat with.
