Situated within the Sheraton Skyline Hotel near Heathrow Airport, Al Dente’s menu makes you feel like you’ve landed in Italy already. The starters include a classic Antipasto and vegetarians can choose from a large range of starters, pasta and risotto dishes such as Spinach Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce. Al Duca, set in London’s Piccadilly recently celebrated its tenth brithday. Opened in 1999 as part of the Pulze’s ‘Cuisine Collection’ restaurant group, Al Duca’s offers fine Italian food that has earned it a legion of loyal diners. The restaurant itself uses traditional Italian colours to evoke a warm and inviting feel; terracotta, olive and stone along with oak timber and mosaic tiling are used to great effect. Al Duca’s menu is suitably Italian, offering dishes such as tiger prawns with saffron vinaigrette, clam, garlic and chilli oil linguini and calf’s liver with spinach, raisins and pine nuts. Three courses at Al Duca cost an average of £40 per person which could be an offer you can’t refuse!

In a paved square overlooking the opulent domes of Brighton Pavilion, Al Duomo is a critically acclaimed family-run restaurant with southern Italian cooking on the menu. Homemade pizzas are baked in the traditional wood-fired oven, sharing the unstuffy menu with pastas, salads, mains and daily specials including freshly caught fish.
