And yet with its low beams and pictures of Greek Islands on its walls, it seems a world away from the bustle of the Camden Town’s streets. In good weather the pretty white walled courtyard is perfect for Al Fresco dining and enjoying some classic Greek breads and dips. Vegetarians will find plenty of Meze options to satisfy their hunger. Mains include specialities such as Stifádo – beef in a rich onion and red wine sauce, and Sheftalia- minced lamb and pork with onions, parsley and breadcrumb, this is also the place to try a real Greek kebab. Fish lovers can tuck into grilled sea bass or sea bream that are flown in daily from the sunny Aegean.

The Arena has become very popular through the years between local residence and business people as well as visitors from far away attending nearby Wembley for concerts, exhibitions and various sporting events. The established regular clientele have been coming here for years. Worlds away from its Euston setting, Archipelago takes a taste of the exotic to heady new heights, with a menu featuring crocodile, peacock and locust dishes. Chicken, fish, lamb and vegetarian dishes cater to more pedestrian palates. 
Opened in the spring of 1984, the Arena still remains the only Greek restaurant of its kind in and around Wembley. It is also the longest established family restaurant in the area. The modern European cooking takes in everything from Cornish crab cake with chilli dressing, Scottish gravadlax with toasted brioche and West Country farmed beef carpaccio with basil dressing.
