Dock Kitchen – International Restaurant – Ladbroke Grove, London

The Dock Kitchen is a well-guarded secret. Recommended by Fay Maschler of the Evening Standard and Time Out London, it is tucked away in the old Virgin Recording Studios complex in a no-nonsense Victorian goods yard on the Grand Union Canal.After the success of his pop-up venture The Moveable Kitchen, Stevie Parle and friends have set up shop permanently here at the end of Tom Dixon’s design showroom, where they cook honest, simple and generous food from around the world. The set up is simple. At lunchtime you can find a small, daily-changing a la carte menu, whilst in the evening they cook a series of set-menu supper clubs inspired by the season, an author, or a favourite place.
