Longfellows is a privately run and managed restaurant in the quiet village of Catherine-De-Barnes, 10 minutes from Solihull town centre.Specialising in fish and game dishes, as well as traditional home-made English puddings, Longfellows was established by Doug and Christine Long in 1988. Showcasing a varied and frequently changing menu, each dish is cooked and prepared in-house by Chef / Proprietor Doug Long, ensuring consistent quality with every visit. Christine Long manages the front of the house and is always on-hand to advise you on today’s specials and wines. The restaurant features two dining rooms and a small bar area for pre-dinner drinks. The restaurant is intimate and cosy and is ideal for party bookings, business lunches, family gatherings, small weddings, garden parties, and intimate dinners for two. During the summer, you can also dine under the shade in the attractive garden. Longfellows can also supply fixed price menus for larger parties.Longfellows holds regular special evenings and theme nights for you and your friends to enjoy. These include St. George’s Day, Mediterranean Evenings with belly dancers, Spanish and Italian evenings, quiz nights, garden parties, and barbecues.
