Situated in the Prestonfield Hotel and set in 20 acres of parkland, Rhubarb has an opulent and theatrical interior design and a fine line of modern Scottish food. A kilted porter will escort you to one of Rhubarb’s two regency dining rooms decorated with giant chandeliers, silk wall coverings and ancestral portraits to partake in the exquisite food and choose from a selection of more than 500 wines. A possible starter is Terrine of Bacon Collar and Pork Belly Rilletes, Caramelised Chicory, Parsely Juice and Piccallili, while mains include Roast Fillet of Veal with Mint and Pancetta Salad and Dijon Mustard Dressing. A pre-theatre menu is available and at certain times there is live music and dancing.
