Set on bustling Essex Road, the Wenlock & Essex – a newly-opened Islington bar with live music – offers a good range of affordable pub-style food in its restaurant, run by Michelin-trained head chef Will Pugh.As with many bars near the O2 Academy Islington, the Wenlock & Essex is likely to prove popular with the young and trendy crowd heading off to a gig.
